About the Role
The Data Science Internship at iSqFt provides an opportunity to work closely with a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers to develop machine learning models that address real-world business challenges. This role involves utilizing technologies such as Python, TensorFlow, and Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile team meetings and provide progress updates.
- Extract and curate datasets for ML model training.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to prototype, build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models on the cloud.
- Optimize and enhance ML models and algorithms.
- Communicate outcomes effectively with business stakeholders.
- Stay updated on state-of-the-art models for computer vision and Generative AI.
Requirements
Skills:
- Passion for building innovative solutions with AI/ML.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Conceptual understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and common data science libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and Matplotlib.
- Fundamental understanding of programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Work Environment
- This position is fully remote, with occasional travel to the office for team meetings and events.
- Candidates must have an established workspace.
- Ability to work remotely in the United States or Canada.
