Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator at Apollo Healthcare Services will play a pivotal role in planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs. They will provide guidance to managers and employees, oversee recruitment strategies, manage training initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach to HR management.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and control budget and expenditures related to human resources activities.
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of HR policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to streamline HR processes.
  • Train, direct, and motivate staff to promote a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure accountability and development.
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform decision-making.
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to address employee-related issues.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain employee satisfaction.
  • Conduct recruitment and hiring processes to meet staffing needs.
  • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and identify areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player with a client-focused approach to HR management.

Duration and Location

  • Duration: Permanent, Full-time
  • Location: Kitchener, ON

Compensation

  • Pay: $36–$37 an hour
