Job Description
As a Staff Data Scientist at Evisort, you’ll spearhead research and development initiatives in Large Language Models (LLMs), driving improvements in performance and accuracy. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you’ll oversee the deployment of algorithms, conduct code reviews, and implement robust testing strategies. Your role involves designing, training, and optimizing ML models, mentoring junior team members, and guiding organizational processes to achieve technical innovation aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead research and development in Large Language Models to enhance product capabilities
- Manage DS team releases and collaborate with Engineering teams for seamless deployment
- Conduct code reviews, develop testing & deployment strategies
- Design, develop, train, optimize, and deploy ML models
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Provide technical leadership in driving cross-functional AI projects
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of deep learning experience in NLP, with a focus on LLMs
- Strong portfolio showcasing LLM applications to business challenges
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and LLM frameworks
- Ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies in GenAI/LLM and NLP
- Excellent communication skills to articulate results and strategies to stakeholders
- Technical leadership experience in driving AI projects is a plus
- MS degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited university
