Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to integrate third-party applications into their data pipeline.
  • Develop Python functions for design purposes.
  • Curate datasets for training machine learning models.
  • Work on multi-disciplinary optimization problems.
  • Participate in meetings with design teams to contribute to the development of the design playbook.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Architecture, Mechanical (HVAC), or Structural Engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Pursuing a Minor in Computer Science is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Speckle is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and apply new skills at the intersection of building design and AI.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, employees are required to sit for extended periods, engage in fine motor skills, and use a keyboard, telephone, or writing tools. The employee may also stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus. The employee will work in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level and may also engage in job site walking.
