Overview
DuPont is seeking collaborative and results-oriented candidates with strong critical thinking and communication skills for their Engineering Internship Program. This internship offers exposure to various aspects of DuPont’s operations and processes, providing a solid foundation in commercial and operational processes across their value chain. As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in grain elevator operations, engineering, and other operational functions, gaining valuable multi-functional exposure to different business units within DuPont.
Responsibilities
- Participate fully in the day-to-day operation of a DuPont facility.
- Develop a thorough understanding of elevator or oilseed processing plant operations.
- Respond effectively to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program managers.
- Travel to other DuPont locations for training and exposure purposes.
- Assist in evaluating changing crop, market, and operational conditions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university, with a preference for Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in standard PC applications.
- Willingness to work standard internship hours subject to adjustment as required by assignment and/or location.
- Ability to travel as needed.
