About the Job:
As an Intern for Acxiom’s Cyber Security, Risk, and Compliance organization, the intern will work closely and collaboratively with organizations for the ongoing development of security projects, programs, and initiatives. They will identify, quantify, and communicate standard processes as applicable for privacy, risk management, and security, ensuring they are included as part of Acxiom’s products, processes, programs, and business initiatives.
Internship Details:
- Start Date: May 20th, 2024
- Work Hours: 20 hours/week during the semester, 40 hours/week during summer and breaks
- Ideal for students graduating in May 2025 or December 2025
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and communicate internally and inter-company with teams and partners as appropriate.
- Develop policy, standards, and guidelines for the comprehensive protection of software, ensuring that it remains resilient in the face of cyberattacks and data breaches.
- Engage with various product engineering and development teams for the adoption and alignment to secure practices and standards as defined in security policies.
- Build and maintain documentation.
- Possess general knowledge of Information Technology and Security practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to extrapolate information from business partners.
- Savvy working in a technical environment to seek business-related problems.
- Proficiency in scripting and modern programming practices.
