Job Description
Are you a data-driven and analytical student seeking an internship in business intelligence (BI)?
Jacksons Food Stores is seeking a qualified candidate for their IT Business Intelligence Internship program. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working on real-world business challenges alongside experienced BI professionals. You will contribute to meaningful projects, develop your skills, and gain exposure to the fast-paced world of BI.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain the Measure Library and Data Dictionary
- Audit existing reports for compliance with publishing standards
- Gather requirements for new reports and machine learning requests

Skills and Qualifications
- Completed sophomore year of study at an accredited college/university
- Pursuing a degree related to business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar field
- U.S. work authorization required
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (SQL, DAX, Python preferred)
- Experience with a variety of BI tools (Azure SQL, Power BI, etc.) a plus
- Experience with business analysis, auditing, and data modeling preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Positive and motivated attitude
Duration and Location
- Part-time internship starting in June and running through mid-August
- In-person position at Jacksons Store Support Center in Meridian, Idaho (remote work not available)
- Must be local to the Treasure Valley, Idaho area
Compensation
- $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
