About the Job
STR is offering an exciting opportunity for a summer internship in Enterprise Cybersecurity. This internship provides students with the chance to collaborate with experienced professionals in the field and gain hands-on experience in addressing cybersecurity threats related to national security.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage alerts and assist in the resolution of cybersecurity issues
- Collaborate with end-users and IT teams to enhance cybersecurity capabilities
- Learn and understand SIEM queries for threat detection and prevention
- Assist in updating internal processes and documentation
- Develop applications and scripts to integrate existing IT security tools
Requirements
- Currently attending a post-secondary educational institution with a major in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Strong academic record and a keen interest in cybersecurity
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience or involvement in cybersecurity through clubs, volunteer work, or previous internships
- Programming experience is a plus
