Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Intern will collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to create and optimize content across various digital channels. Responsibilities include researching and drafting blog posts, updating website content, and assisting with content audits and optimization efforts. The intern will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Research and draft blog posts.
  2. Input content into the CMS.
  3. Update and optimize existing content.
  4. Audit and categorize existing content.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with user experience and customer experience concepts.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles.
  • Some HTML experience is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred majors: Journalism, communication, marketing, or English.
  • At least two years of post-secondary education.
  • Experience with marketing concepts and interest in UX or CX.
  • Basic HTML experience and interest in design principles.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
