Job Description
Thales is seeking a dynamic Software Analyst Intern to join their team for an 8 or 12-month internship at their Toronto office. The successful candidate will be part of the Engineering Environment team, contributing to the development, analysis, automation, and testing of infrastructure supporting Thales Ground Transportation Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scripts to enhance current engineering infrastructure and tools.
- Prepare dashboards and metrics for global business line reporting.
- Participate in front-end development for ongoing transformation activities.
- Collaborate in wiki community management initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Systems Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral communication.
- Availability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week) for the agreed-upon work term.
- Knowledge in web development, scripting (Python, Groovy, PowerShell, etc.), and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Familiarity with JIRA, GIT/BitBucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins/Continuous Integration.
