Job Description

As a Strategic Services Function Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding clients across the Asia Pacific region (APAC). You’ll lead a team of cyber security consultants, conducting in-depth assessments, crafting strategic plans, and guiding clients through realistic simulations to bolster their cyber resilience.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Manage and inspire a highly skilled team, driving performance and fostering continuous learning within the cyber security practice.
  • Spearhead APAC expansion for the Strategic Services Practice by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and responding to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and analyze cyber vulnerabilities and threats, prioritizing risks based on potential impact.
  • Develop and implement cyber risk mitigation strategies aligned with regulations like GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST/CIS Controls.
  • Collaborate with clients to tailor effective security solutions, communicating risks and mitigation plans through clear reports and presentations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10 years of cyber security experience with a focus on risk assessment
  • (Preferred) Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • (Preferred) Professional certifications in cyber security (CISSP, CISM, CRISC)
  • Consulting and/or project management experience, including leading cyber security assessments and Table-Top Exercises (TTX)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27000, NIST CSF)
  • Ability to present complex security concepts to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
